Baked Ham with Maple Mustard Sauce

"Baked" Ham with Maple Mustard Sauce
Same technique also does: roasts of any description, whole chickens, turkeys, pasta, casseroles, vegetables, fruits
Utensil
7 Qt. Dutch Oven
Yield
4-6 Servings
Ingredients
1 ham
cloves
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 cup whole grain Dijon mustard
2 tbsp real maple syrup
Directions
Make sure ham closely fits 7 qt. pan.
Score top of ham and place a clove in the center of each cross.
In a bowl whisk together mustard and maple syrup, then pour over ham.
Reduce to low and cook 15 minutes for each pound of meat.
If crispy top is desired, transfer to broiler for a few minutes.
Allow ham to rest before carving. Serve with leftover marinade on the side.
