Spray oil OR canola oil (optional) 4 slices Whole wheat bread 4 slices2 tbsp. Sage, fresh 30 mL1 tsp. Chicken powder seasoning¾ cup Onion, finely diced½ cup Celery, finely chopped1 tsp. Garlic, minced2 whole Eggs well beaten2 tbsp. Cranberries, fresh/frozen whole or dried¼ cup Pistachio nuts
1. Dice bread and place in glass mixing bowl. Add sage, chicken powder and toss together.2. In a Saladmaster skillet, add spray oil or canola and sauté onions, celery and fresh garlic until the mixture becomes transparent.3. Add this mixture, the pistachio nuts and cranberries to the bowl of seasoned diced bread. Add beaten eggs and mix well.4. The stuffing is ready to use.
